I have been treated for constipation over the past 3 years. I had a colonoscopy 8 years ago and all was clear. I have been trying to stay away from milk and fast food but recently through the holidays ate more cheesy products, mochas and fast food. I have been having bowel troubles since then and acid reflux more lately especially when I feel very full. I don't seem to be getting rid of as much stool as what I have been eating. I don't know what to do I have been taking Miralax as prescribed by my doctor and Prilosac OTC when acid is bothering me. If I drink plenty of water I start to feel better and have larger bowel movements. I have been uncomfortable for the last 3 or 4 days and my stomach is feeling bloated. Is there something else I can do.
