I have been treated for anxiety and depression for 18 yrs. Recently my doctor wanted me to decrease my dose of xanax and Serzone. I was successful at reducing 50% of my dosage. I started to have apprehension and severe headaches on top of my head. We did not reduce the amitriptyline. I have never done well on pamelor or those type drugs. I was prescribed the amitriptyline for headaches. I was doing really well until these last few months. Serzone always worked for me and I had no liver problems. The anxiety came from being given Zoloft. It was a misdiagnosis. Did not need an antidepressant, only had anxiety and H-pylori. The zoloft causes me extreme anxiety and suicidal tendencies. I am trying to get leveled out again but am having trouble after the dosage adjustment. I am currently taking 100mg Serzone, .5mg Xanax and 50mg amitriplyline.
