I have been talking pepsid with Plavix for years. after recently being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I had some upper gi bleeding form the meds for that. My discharge papers said to stop taking the pepsid and start talking Prilosec. There was a FDA recommendation not to take Prilosec with Plavix. Is there another PPI I can take that wont have adverse affects on the Plavix?
