I have been taking Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg cap starting 4-3-16
I had a side affect of nausea and vommiting as well as still being dehydrated. So I went back to the hospital as I was just there earlier that day and that's when they gave me the doxycycline. I couldn't hold food or water down so I went back to the emergency room. They put me on zofran I was still nauseous but able to hold water down. So they gave me a prescription for Ondansetron ODT 8mg tab. It says on the bottle to only take it every 8hrs as needed. I take one and not even two hours later I'm already sick to my stomach again. I'm on my fourth day of taking the zofran generic version and I'm still always nauseous and I've hardly ate since I hardly have a appetite. I haven't ate at all today, I ate a sandwich yesterday, a small cup of chili Wednesday. I feel like I'm hungry but when I try to eat I get nauseousand feel like I'm going to vommit. As well as I feel like my stomachs eating itself and the zofran isn't working anymore. Could the doxycycline still be making me sick to my stomach? As well as I'm still dehydrated and all I've drank is water and Gatorade every day. Should I go back to the hospital or just toughen it out.
