I have been On Tri-Sprintec for about 4 months now and this is a new type of birth control for me. I've taken the regular Sprintec a year prior, skipped a year and then was prescribed Tri-Sprintec. I was on my 2nd week in the blister pack and accidentally poked a 3rd week pill from the Friday column and didn't think twice to check the color. Since that Friday I have noticed light brown and red spotting and I'm supposed start my period during the last 4 or 3 white pills in the pack, and I'm still taking the pills because I want to be protected. I haven't been sexually active since Monday in the 2nd week. I have two more pills until I have to take the Friday pill I skipped during the 2nd week. I'm wondering if this is in need of attention or hope that it will go away.
