I have an "abnormal result" for iron on the cancer screening programme, I`m sixty years of age, and male. Is my risk one in ten? From the outside I look thirty five/forty, I`m still moving forwards physically, and have just recently put together a whole collection of physical world records. All of this strongly suggesting to my biological age being far removed from the measure for elapsed time (?) I have also had the entire anticancer programme in place for the past thirty five years, constantly slim, no red meat, never smoked, alcohol free (up to one measure of low alcohol red wine), high grain, vegetable and fruit diet, averaging twenty plus different daily, extra calcium and vit D daily, wide compliment of plant based antioxidant supplements, to include pycnogenol, and until recently garlic. Had varicose veins removed at thirty five years. Halted the progression. Several years back, bleeding as consequence to grain in my diet, and currently, periodic itching of the scrotum for no obvious reason. No family history of any cancers/polyps, and they were all drinkers and red meat eaters. No symptoms/changes. Currently, apart from the gym, and physical work, I engage on a weekly five hour cross country run dragging chain and iron balls, and whilst gaining new world records in bending a spenby bar. Energy to spare afterwards, and no problem with either lactic acid, or cortisone (my body looks slightly better than thirty years past)
Of possible interest, I made a total, x ray and symptomatic, recovery from ostioarthritis over-use of the ankle joints between the ages of thirty and fifty five. For your amusement, some world records at youtube/celebritydiscodave/ through (google) celebritydiscodave, and Kates David (youtube) - Currently at 1000 continuous bends - Not possible just a few weeks ago!
Also, can one get a false positive from taking vegetable and berry concentrates along with vitamin C and flavanoids?
