I have a concern. I have been having lower belly cramping and right side cramping. I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago with just uterous being removed and had appendix removed last year. I am 52 years old and was told that I was going though full blown menopause as of last year. My original doctor wanted to do a laproscomy and maybe removed right ovary and possible scar tissue and leave left ovary there. He is on medical leave now and I have another doctor taking over who wants to removeb both ovaries and said I would not need hormone replacements. I am concerned and confused. I have heard so much contraversy about having both ovaries removed. Just need light of this situation. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
