I Had Procedures Done On My Varicose Veins Two Weeks

I had procedures done on my varicose veins two weeks ago. It was done with radio frequency ablation. They didn't hurt before, but I had a blood clot in the superficial veins on my left thigh. When they did the ultrasound, they said that the veins were ineffective (due to influx) and I should have them closed.
This weekend, my legs have started to hurt around the areas that were worked on.
They didn't' hurt the week after, so I am wondering, what could be causing the pain now?
