I had an appointment with Doctor this Monday past for my regular Pap test. A week prior to my visit I had a hard lump appear on my labia that was filling up with fluid mostly clear but also had pus which kinda looked similar to a blister. I told him about it and he said it's just an inflamed gland and prescribed me taro-mupirocin ointment 2%. I have been using it twice a day as prescribed for 4 days however the area just keeps refilling with fluid and pus and the hard lump does not disappear once drained ( it breaks even from wiping after using the bathroom ) From reading I feel it may be a bartholin gland cyst. Will this ointment work or should I return to my doctor.
