I had an abortion about a year and a half ago. Before this I managed to stay around 110 pounds which I attribute to really good genes and a good metabolism as I never really watched what I ate or exercised at all. I quickly gained weight soon after the abortion (I'd say ten pounds in 3 months). I'm now at 125 pounds and seriously struggling to lose even one pound. In September of last year I would run a mile then do a half hour of anaerobic exercises for 3 months straight all while on a strict diet. I got discouraged after not even losing a pound and stopped. I started back exercising even harder now at a gym the end of January and have been watching what I eat. I go to the gym on average 4 times a week and for about an hour or more switching from cardio to lifting. It's now been over 2 months and I'm at my breaking point again. It is so discouraging to try so hard and not even lose a pound or see any definition or tone at all. Any advice on what is wrong with me would be greatly appreciated.
