I Had An Abdominal Sonogram Done And The Results Were:

I had an abdominal sonogram done and the results were: my left kidney showed a 2.1 x 2.1 x 1.9 cm cyst in the midpole. Along the superior medial aspect of the left kidney seen only on select submitted images there is a hypoechoic .4 x 3.9 x 3.1 cm lesion, query an exophytic renal cortical mass versus potentially an adrenal mass. There is no hydronephrosis nor echogenic nephroureteral calculus present.
IMPRESSION: Mildly echogenic liver consistent with hepatic steatosis with a left renal cortical cyst, and hypoechoic exophytic left upper pole renal mass, for which correlation with cross-sectional imaging is recommended. WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN? A tummy tuck was recommended but I had to get an abdominal sonogram first.
