I Had A Total Right Hip Replacement This Past May

I had a total right hip replacement this past May 21st. My recovery hasn't been close to perfect until about 6 weeks. I had rigors one evening and the next day I had a huge red area on both sides of my incision. I went to my surgeon and he suspected Cellulitis. He put me on levaquin for 10 days and it appeared to have cleared up and the redness disappeared. One week after stopping the levaquin, the redness returned. I was again put on levaquin for another 7 days and today was my last day. During both episodes, I had rigors. The first time, I had full body rigors. The second time, I had the same feeling but localized at the incision site. My latest blood work results were fine, a hip aspiration proved fine as well. Now, my surgeon is suggesting I could be experiencing an allergy to the internal sutures which can take up to 1 year to completely dissolve. ?????
