I Had A Tooth Extracted And One Filled On Wed.

I had a tooth extracted and one filled on Wed. Parts of my face, neck and up to the top of my head on the side of the injection still feel a little numb and I have had elevated blood pressure (up to 174 over 107). Could this be a side effect of the injection the dentist gave me to deaden my teeth before he did his work? He is a very good and trusted dentist. FYI I am 78 years of age and in very good health except for slight blood pressure problems for which I took 5 mg of lisinopril for a couple years until I lost some weight and got my blood pressure under control.
