I had a reverse total shoulder replacement last June. The pain has never lessened and I am under the care of a pain management doctor. A month ago I noticed a lump on the front of my shoulder right in the area of the scar. It is mildly painful to touch, and movement of the arm at the shoulder seems to generate severe pain depending on the position of the shoulder. Pain is helped more by ice than the Oxycodone I take. I see my doctor next week and offered to get a X-Ray beforehand but he said to wait. The lump is now the size of half of a boiled egg and feels somewhat hard. Any ideas? Could scar tissue form a lump like this?
