I Had A Bad Sinus Cold. Hat Might The Crackling Sound Be ?

Last week I had a bad sinus cold. My ear does not hurt but it crackles when I eat or swallow. I clean my ears about once or twice a week and there is very littel build in the canal. What might the crackling sound be ?

As per your history you had attack of sinus. In this there may seen effect on eustachian tube which is connection between throat and ear. Blocking of which may lead to effect on tympanic membrane and may get crackles.
