I had a bad fall 2 months ago and developed an abscess on the part of my leg just below the knee. The Dr. In emergency cut it open and cleaned it up. Unfortunately after a couple weeks I ended up with a horrible infection because the hole where the abscess was didn't close before the incision. I was on 8 days of intervenes and 7days of the same drug, two pills twice a day. My lips and parts of my body are extremely dry and I've also been drinking litres and litres of water. Now I have developed a deep red rash, about 5" x 5" under one breast. It doesn't hurt and isn't itchy but won't go away. I've put penetin cream on it because the home care nurse suggested it. She thought it was getting larger because of sweating. She did say to see a Dr. If it continues. I'm not loving my family Dr and am not a fan of clinics. I thought if I have a little more info before I go to a Dr.
