I found a tampon that was inside of me for what I believe to be 3 months. I am absolutely horrified. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and pcos, so I guess I thought the discharge was related to those things.. I thought maybe cancer or something serious. I have been waiting for my health insurance to kick in to go. Then I read people talking about leaving a tampon in and they had all the same symptoms... I went to the bathroom last night and sure enough. I pulled one out. 3 months is a really long time and I am so embarrassed and scared. I took a bath with some vinegar and the symptoms seem to be going away now. Should I go to the doctor?
