I am female aged 60 with a blood pressure reading of 148/73 is this normal?

BP can fluctuate between 100/60 and 190/90 and still be "normal" Optimum BP is 120/80. Just keep your weight down, don't smoke and cut down on salt. Do some gentle exercise, say 15 minutes walking every day.
