I Am Taking Amoxicillin And Noticed A Discharge Of Blood And Bacterial Infection
I have been taking amoxicillin for 24 hrs for a sore throat, but notice I seem to have a Bacterial infection and increased slightly bloody discharge in my vaginal area. Will the amoxicillin cure this or should i return to the doctor for something more or should i wait until i finish the amoxicillin? I have a dr appointment for tuesday and I will ask the doctor in person, then. IT does not burn, itch, or sting.

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. You have two different issues. The throat infection can be treated withe amoxicillin but the cause of blood discharge from vagina has to be ruled out. So consult a gynecologist and get it evaluated. For the throat infection you continue the same course of antibiotics. Do saline gargling. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
