Most people typically urinate 4-8 times in the day.And in the night not more than once.if your frequency is more than that it is frequent urination.
Frequent urination is associated with diabetes and diabetes can cause recurrent urinary tract infection too..so get your blood sugar tested in the morning before breakfast and 2 hrs after break fast..The other causes are prostate gland enlargement, pregnanacy etc..
Avoid foods that appear to irritate your bladder or act as a diuretic, including caffeine, alcohol, carbonated drinks, artificial sweeteners, tomato-based products, chocolate, and spicy foods. Eat a high-fiber diet, because constipation can worsen the symptoms of overactive bladder syndrome.
