I am experiencing high blood pressure and edema, mostly from the legs down. I have had heaviness in my chest. I have had an ekg, a leg ultrasound, a ct, and bloodwork. The only abnormality was a slight elevation in one of the kidney tests. They have taken more blood and I am awaiting an echo. I would like to know if this is a kidney problem, what are the possibilities? What could it actually be? I am wondering if somehow this could be related to my thyroid. I am always cold - my feet especially.
