I am a recovering addict. I was clean for 2 years and as life changes approached I found myself using different drugs regularly and now feel depressed because of what I've done and unless I use anything I feel a small psychical withdraw but mainly depression. My doctor prescribed me zoloft. I will be getting it today but will this also help me not want to use and will it help my body not need the drugs to feel calm ?
