I Am A 5'11 Male Who Weighs 180-185. I Work

I am a 5'11 male who weighs 180-185. I work out 5-7 days a week, eat a well balanced diet , take a multi-vitamin split between morning and evening as well as an additional magnesium supplement in the evening. I was recently prescribed 60mg vyvanse to take in the morning to treat ADHD (which I was recently diagnosed). I take my vyvanse in the morning. I've found that I experience a dramatic reduction in effectiveness of vyvanse between 3-6pm, depending on when I take it, with my inability to focus returning in addition to a mild "mental fog". However, I still do experience some of the mild vyvanse side effects into the late evening. I work 8 hours a day in addition to taking online classes full time, so my productivity dropping off half way through the day is a significant issue. Before I consult with my doctor for a modification of my dosage, is there any behavior or diet changes I can make to increase the duration of my medication' s effectiveness, or is it possible that I just metabolize the drug at a faster rate?
