I am a 48 yr old woman. I smoke and im on amitriptaline 50mg per night and am currently on a methadone dose of 60mg daily.I do not have hep.c or hiv. I have had a burning feeling all around mouth after having a tooth removed and a denture fitted six weeks ago. It began as a burning/numb feeling has slowly seemed to move down my throat then to lungs. Iv suffered with bronchitis over the yrs during autumn here in NZealand but sporadically so i thot it was bronchil, but the feeling of burning began making itself present. I have slight ulcers on the edges of my tongue and the burning feeling has slowly made it down to my throat making it hard to swallow. I have cut back on smoking & have a goal in place to give up becos it seems to aggriv8 the burning. It's become such a nuisance that I hate wearing my dentures. I saw my G.P a wk after the burning began & he prescrbd dezacol oral thrush gel bt that was b4 it felt like it hand infected dwn to my lungs. The gel fixed nothing. My family have a histry of cancer & ive bn worried. My upper gums (fully dentured) feel like theyre swollen. I thought it best 2 mentioning have tingling feet also which only tingle when I don't eat properly eg: crap like fast food, processed etc. I have changed my diet to meat, veges, fruit, water and 1 latte in the morning. I use native honey (manuka tree native to NZ bush) to sweeten my drinks and exercise each day. I feel good some days but drained & tired on others. My period is still regular but I suffer cramps more often than not prior and during the onset of this cycle.
