I am a 46 year old female, I had a hip.sxope in November 2014, total replacement in same hip August 2015 went back into surgery the next day for broken femur. I also broke my elbow.this past January. Iam on 7.5 Meloxicam 2X daily and Tramadol. I am in constant pain ranging anywhere.from a 4 on good days to 10 plus at least 3 to 4 times a week. The pain seems to be from my shoulders down. I tried to go back to work last.week and that was a big failure. Not only am I sick to death of chronic pain it is very depressing and pain meds don't seem to be doing much. I am on the highest dose of citalopram also. I have had recent xrays orto says my femur shows lots of scarring but he doesnt understand the reason I am in pain. My gp did blood work nothing amiss there either. Im wondering about fibromyalgia or something similar. Sometines I think they feel its all in my head....I also have difficulty sleeping more than 3 or so hours at a time so that doesnt help anything. Any suggestions?
