I am 76 yrs old, male and am experiencing constipation. The lower front of my stomach area feels almost like "plastic". I have kidney disease, stage 2; am anemic; and have type 2 diabetes.
Saw my pcp today and he directed me to stop taking metformin (500 mg 2x daily) because of my kidney disease issues. My a1c is 6.2 and I also take 50mg of januvia daily. He is sending me to see a kidney spec, GI doc and blood doc. Any ideas?
