I Am 58 Years Old And Have Had BP Problems

I am 58 years old and have had BP problems for over 10 years. I have been on HCTZ 25 MG daily for
the past 9 years. My physician recently tried me on Norvasc which caused tremendous side effects,
Valsartan, and Verapamil these caused significant side effects as well. Finally about 3 months ago,
he tried Atenolol which worked well I thought. Today, I saw my cardiologist, had an EKG which read
possible inferior infarct. My cardiologist said this is nothing to worry about because he suspects it's the Atenolol (changes occurred after I was on this drug for 3 months). Show I be concerned? He is weaning off of the Atenolol.
