I am 23 years. I was suffering from viral jaundice about one and a half months ago. As a herbal remedy some people suggested having unripe papaya and papaya seeds. I tried it few days back. Now I came to know that I am less than 4 weeks pregnant. I have read many articles stating that pappaya and it's seeds cause miscarriage or birth defects including nervous system disorders in the baby. As per the ultrasound scan, uterus is stable and the doctor said there is no chance of miscarriage. I am afraid whether forwarding this pregnancy may cause birth defects in the baby. Please give me a good advice.
