Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Montair is the leukotriene receptor antagonist (anti-asthmatic drugs). It blocks the action of certain natural substances (leukotrienes) that are involved in causing asthma and allergies. When taken as recommended, this drug may help prevent crisis.I will suggest you see your Doctor before you discontinue this drug. You will have to be reevaluated. However, stopping this drug may predispose you to developing symptoms. It is a drug that is pretty safe to use for long.
If you are taking this drug for allergy/asthma, i will say the best way to prevent crisis will be to avoid the allergens. You may not have food items that will help like this drug.
Just have a chat with your Doctor.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
