I have a spinal cord injury C4 incomplete, BSS and recently started taking Duloxetine 30 for nerve pain, have been on many others RX that did not work for me. Had to reduce the Duloxetine to 20, 8 days ago and am wanting to get off as am having terrible spasms, face swollen and itchy and R eyelid swollen. have taken cetirazine that seems to help some. Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.

You need to reduce dosage gradually over the weeks or even months. There is no specific progamm but it should be individulized depending on age, period and dosage of taking it. Generally, the dosage should be reduced for 5% per week and you should have some of the benzodiazepines during this period.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
