Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is taking Alprax 0.5 mg half a tablet for last 2 years as prescribed by his neurophysician. Now he has been asked to reduce it.. How do we reduce it and is there any natural alternative substitute for it.At present we have reduced it to 3 days in a week. Slowly he is asked to stop it.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You can reduce the amount of dose mean you take Alprax tablet for one month, then reduce the frequency of medicine means you can take tablet on alternate day. Do exercise and meditation in the morning.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
