Hi Ragava,

From what you are saying, you have been diagnosed with diabetes recently. The very first thing to do is to determine what is causing diabetes:
- primary (type 1 diabetes)
- or secondary (due to pancreatitis)

Depending on the type of diabetes diagnosed, it will be prescribed the most appropriate treatment (whether you need insulin or oral hypoglycemiants).

Next, diet and lifestyle regimen is very important in controlling diabetes. I advise to work with a dietitian to prepare a personalized menu for you according to your daily needs and eating traditions (whether vegan, vegetarian, etc.).

Hope it was of help! All the best!
