How To Treat The Open Heart Surgery Wound In 4 Year Old?

My niece who is 4 years old had an open heart surgery for vsd closure, she was fine and stitches also were removed, but when the doctor removed the dead skin, and applied ointment for healing and then closed it, now after we opened the wound it still shows wet and looks more big, how we should treat the wound, are there any foods to be avoided

I humbly suggest you to see the surgeon who has operated as it might be getting infected or healthy but gaping. no foods need be avoided, it is not food related. Please give more Dhal or proteins as it is good for healing.
