How To Treat The Loose Motion In An Infant Caused Giving Medicines?

Good morning
my 11 month baby has a symptom of vomiting yesterday. We consulted doctor. He prescribed zithrol sus and sinarest drop . we given the medicines after few moments he again vomited.But after the doses baby has little loose motion around 4 times in 12 hour.Kindly suggest .

Thanks for your query.I amDr Sharon Baisil.
The loose stools were most probably caused by Zithrol.It can cause gastric irritation in many persons.Check whether the baby has any signs of dehydration like sunken eyes,excessive thirst,loose skin pinch..Continue giving liquids plenty along with breast milk.And for thevomiting you can try giving the baby Junior Lanzo 15 mg tablet half once daily.And i dont see any indication for antibiotic like zithrol in this case.You can discontinue it.
