How To Treat Swelling Due To Vaccination?

My Child was born on 3rd July,14 and had first vaccination on 10th July,14 of BCG+OPV & Hepatitis B. Injection which was given on his thighs got a red swelling after 5 days of vaccination and persisting till date. I will also send the pictures for your reference. Met a doctor here and he suggested paracetamol drops & to give warm treatment to the thighs. Please suggest as there is nothing is getting better.

Hi...it is very unusual for the redness and swelling to be persisting at the vaccination site after so many days. I recommend you to post the pictures on this website so that we can help you more professionally.
meanwhile I have a few questions for you -
1. Is there any fever?
2. How are the movements of the leg which is swollen?
3. How is the kid otherwise apart from this swelling?

I wish your kid a speedy recovery. If you need any future medical consultation and suggestions, I will be glad to help. You can approach me at the following link. Please find the link below.
