How To Treat Swelling And Bruise Of Right Shin Bone Caused After Injury?

hi.4 days ago i injured my right shin bone hitting a large rock just melow the knee falling off a mountain bike.I had a knee pad on that took the blunt of the impact but still left heavy swelling and bruising. I think my mcl may have been injured as well due to the torque of the impact. I wake up with a stiff knee every morning.I can deal with the pain but now there is swelling and bruising in my right ankle. it doesn;t hurt but swollen. I ve been icing for the swelling but the bruising seems to be getting worse bellow the ankle. Any suggestions?

I really appreciate your concern such accident injury should be taken seriously and in my opinion get done the x-ray study to rule out the fracture, till then keep the leg in elevated position and any analgesic can be tried, hope this information helps, take care.
