How To Treat Sore Throat In Kids?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? P yes...my four year old complained of a sore throat this morning. I gave her motrin and she felt better. this afternoon she woke up from her nap with a headache fever of 101.8 and a sore throat. now she just vomited. should I take her to the doctor or can I treat her at home?

Hello,

You may give her salt water gargling thrice a day. Use paracetamol syrup 15-20 mg per kg thrice a day. If no improvement you may need to start antibiotics according to baby body weight. Please consult with your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
