How To Treat Small, hard, immovable Lump On Jawline?

I found a small, hard, immovable lump on my jawline, under the skin right outside of my ear recently. It is not painful, however,I have been having occasional pain deep in the ear.saw a doc,and was treated w/ antibiotics for possible infection, but it didn't help any.Wondering what this could be?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms if you are diagnosed with ear infection then a small, hard immovable lump can be a swollen lymph node that has occurred due to REACTIONARY LYMPHADINITIS as the infection and inflammation can cause swelling of lymph nodes..

In case if it is not a swollen lymph node then it can be a Lipoma or a sebaceous cyst..

Nothing to worry consult an ENT expert and get evaluated for the cause of ear ache and if there is infection then it can be a swollen lymph node..

In case if it is not a lymph node then the other causes has to be looked for an a Biopsy can be done to confirm the diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
