How To Treat Skin Rashes After Having Used Hydrocortisone?

I have been using topical cortisone for 6 months due to a rash on various parts of my body. Also had several dose packs. I found out a week ago that I m allergic yo hydrocortisone, ppd, and formaldehyde. For the past week I ve eliminated those particular things. How long before the rashes go away? I m worse now than I was before I stopped them.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Allergic skin reaction can be overcome by taking antihistamine medications.
Kindly wash the area thoroughly with cold water and using mild antiseptic solution like Savlon. Take Tablet. Levocetrizine once a day.
Take care not to use any medications which you are allergic to.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
