How To Treat Severe Headaches With Blurred Vision In Middle Aged?

I am getting lots of headaches that really knock me. I have no energy and blurred vision sometimes. I take nurofen to try and control them but my headaches can last for days. I have always suffered from headaches but they seem to be getting worse and more regular. I am 50 years old and are probably going through menopause. I get quite a few hot flushes but they are nothing compared to my headaches.

Hello,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.

I think that you have a migraine because of a trigger factor. In your case, it seems that you are menopausal which is causing the reduction in the hormone levels. These hormone level cause the symptoms of hot flashes and vaginal atrophy. This seems to be causing the migraine. I think that you need to see a Doctor and start on hormone therapy.

This will help you. But you need to be examined by a Doctor to confirm the cause and also to start on the treatment.

Wish you a quick recovery.
Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further.
