How To Treat Severe Facial Acne Caused Possibly Due To Allergic Reaction?

Hi I got a skin burn from an unknown cream and my skin went dry so I put Avon moisture therapy hand cream on my face. After that my dry skin suddenly turned into acne and I was shocked and immediately thought it was an allergic reaction so I took an anti allergy tablet. The next morning the acne had gotten worse so I cancelled plans with friends till tomorrow. I tried to put on natures kiss herbal creme to help but then it went red what should I do Im scared for tomorrow.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have got acne on your facial skin along with skin burn . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction from cosmetics and skin products , side effect of any medicine , eczema , psoriasis , bug bite and seborrheic dermatitis . In your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to allergic reaction either due to any skin product or medicine . I would suggest you to clean your face with cold water and mild soap , apply ice pack for 2-3 mins to get relive from itchiness and redness and take anti histamine like bendryl . Do not applu any cosmetics or skin product . If condition doesn't get better in 24 hours then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment , gibe adrenaline short and prescribe antibiotics in case of infection .
