Hi. I suffer from RA, osteoarthritis in my shoulder, along with fibromyalgia. I see a Rheumatoligist frequently. I am now in a hoveround and in constant pain. I just saw an orthopedist who told me that the hard knots on my knees are soft tissue bursitis and told me the only thing he could reccommend was injections. I hate being in this chair and the pain. I know my RA is really bad and my back (spine) is detereoating from degenerative disc disease. I have 2 discs that are practically gone and another with no disc space. I have been through all kinds of therapys, injections, and take a lot of meds. What, if anything, can be done to stop the progression of the RA and the pain. I can not take meds like humara because I suffer from constant UTI's and am on antibiotics.
