Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The situation seems to be really serious. The procedure called plasmapheresis is supposed to lower the antibodies which are fighting against the heart tissue. But this procedure can lead to a lot of complications like an infection, deep vein thrombosis, cardiac arrhythmia, bleeding, etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
