How To Treat Rectal Bleeding Caused Due To An Infection?

well ive had a pro lapse rectum for ovewr a year , previously fixed back in 2014. I recently have been to the hospital for bleeding w a nine day stay due to infection and timwe after that a blood transfusion due to bleeding , just recently another eposide due too bleeding hoepital just try to push it back in. I am now wearing santariy napkins b\c I continue to bleed and it is external the size of a golf ball between my checks.. whats your thoughts?

The short answer to your question is that you will need another surgery.

Unfortunately in adults no medical treatment for rectal prolapse is available.
Your surgeon will decide what type of surgery will be best for you.

Rectal bleeding and infection are the complications of the prolapsed rectal tissue being outside the body, unprotected. The long term treatment for these complications or rather to prevent these complications from happening again in the future is the elimination of rectal prolapse by surgical repair.
As long as the rectum is prolapsed, it will remain at risk for infection and bleeding.
