How To Treat Rashes On Legs And Thigh After Eating Raw Shiitake?
I have a rash that has developed since eating raw shiitake mushrooms. It is mostly on my legs, thighs, and lower/upper arms. It itches and is rough and bumpy to the touch. It also looks like welts. What can I do about it other than the hard-learned lesson of NEVER eating raw shiitake again?

first, avoidance of your allergens is a must if you don't want the incident to happen again. anti-histamines could help relieve the itchiness. the inflammation will subside eventually. if the swelling or inflammation persists, a consult with your doctor is best. IV medications, such as diphenhydramine and epinephrine, may be of help in severe cases.
