How To Treat Peeling Lips?

Every time i touch my lip, it feels like im getting stung or jabbed by something sharp. Its a very quick piercing of pain, no cold soares around it, lower lip right in the middle, and underneath it there is a scratch that when I pull my lip away from my teeth, another painful feeling as if that was a cold soar.

Hello,

I can understand your concern for peeling lips.

You have not mentioned your age, sex and other related medical or treatment history.

In general if the lips are repeatedly chapping then it is either due to dehydration in young age or due to bit increase in blood sugar level leading to yeast infection in oral cavity and resultant chapping.

I suggest you to rehydrate yourself with plenty of liquids and go for blood sugar examination. You can do a glass test for yeast infection by your morning saliva.

If you find any cloudy thing or globules in water then you might need proper anti-fungal therapy.

All the best.
