How To Treat Nosebleed In A 6 Years Old Child?

My 6 year old daughter has had nosebleeds for about two years off and on but lately she gets one every other day. No matter day or night. She also has had extreme nausea every day for a couple of weeks. No fever or any other issues. She has been eating less because of this.

hi,

thanks for you question.

recurrent nose bleeds can be treated by cauterizing the small vascular are in the front of the nose called littles area. you LR dr or and ENT surgeon should be able to help:

I would be concerned that the bleeding and your daughters other symptoms could be linked and so I would see you physician so he can do a full physical examination and run some blood tests.

I hope this answers your question.

best wishes
