How To Treat Nerve Damage In The Arm Caused Due To Compressed Nerve At The Neck?

I have been taking lyrica for about 10 weeks, 300mg in the morning and the same at night. The doctor told me that I have nerve damage in my arm due to a trapped nerve in my neck. I am on the waiting list for an Mri but was told I need to wait at least another 8 weeks. The tablets worked for about 9 weeks but the pain is back to the way it was before. I am taking paracetamol too but nothing is working. What else can I do ?

Hi,

Take thiocholchiside 4 mg tab twice a day, give hot fomentation, take physiotherapy, avoid lifting weights, apply over the counter anti-inflammatory gel like diclofenac or tramadol gel.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jaideep Gaver, Orthopedic Surgeon
