How To Treat Mucus In The Throat?

Hi
I am 30 and I have the post nasal drip problem as I assume...
One concerning symptom is as soon as I get up from bed, and take the first deep breath, I feel the mucus being accumulated in the throat passage/respiratory tract somewhere and I feel the vibration.. After two three breaths, it becomes normal, however, I still feel sometimes, I am unable to take a complete breath..

Most of the times in a day, I have mucus being generated that I can bring to my mouth and many times forced to swallow due to the environment I am in..

Any suggestions towards this? Is my assumption correct? If yes, what must I do to cure it?

Currently I am taking Ayurvedic medicine, but it seems to be very slow.

hello, thanks for your query, post nasal drip( mucus from nose and sinuses) can cause sore throat, cough and chest congestion. u need to be evaluated by an ent surgeon for sinus infection and treatment. that is d root cause of throat pain. mean time u can start steam inhalation for liquidating d secretions.all d best. take care.
