How To Treat Migraine?

Hi,

I am 27 yrs old, have been pretty healthy the only issue I have had are migraines. About a month ago I had a migraine that lasted 1 week, soon after my stomach aches begin more constant. I have always had gastritis like symptoms, because I would never eat accordingly in college... however, it has gotten worse. Soon after my 1 week headaches, I had a horrible backache out of no where while driving, I get home and a quick back massage and when I got up to go to the bathroom my kidney started hurting. I ignored the pain thinking the pain would go away, but it only got worse. I woke up in the middle of the night with a sharp pain in my abdomen so bad I thought I was going to pass out. I have been mylanta and it seems to get better, but it stops there. I have been belching so much and the pain gets worse. Please help. Thank you

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. I my opinion migraine is not a curable disease but you can get free intervals if you take prophylaxis. For acute attacks you can take tab.headset which can be available at medical stores but you need prescription for that. I also suggest you to take tab. topiramate for prophylaxis this drug can be prescribed by your treating doctor. I suggest you to have an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out the kidney related flank pain and other gastr intestinal problems. Hope this answers your query. If you have any other doubts feel free to contact me. Thank you.
